Terms and Policies

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICIES
We require a 25% deposit of the total amount due to be received by us within 30 days of booking. No reservations made within 60 days of arrival will be accepted without a credit card deposit. If a deposit is not received within 30 days of booking, your reservation may automatically be canceled without notification! If a credit card is used for deposit, we will charge a 25% of the total amount to your card as confirmation. This deposit and any subsequent payments will become non-refundable at 14 days prior to arrival in Yap. If for some reason you decide to cancel your trip, we must receive your notice of cancellation, in writing. Balance in full is required 60 days prior to arrival in Yap for all reservations. Reservation is subject to cancelation without notice should full payment not be received on time.

REFUND POLICY
All reservations will be refunded in full if cancelled in writing prior to 30 days before arrival in Yap. A 50% refund will be issued for bookings canceled in writing between 29 and 14 days prior to arrival in Yap. There will be no other refunds given to anyone at any time except for prepaid events, dives and/or excursions canceled by Manta Ray Bay Resort & Yap Divers.

LIMITATION OF HOTEL LIABILITY
All reservations made are subject to the conditions stated herein. Manta Ray Bay Resort is not liable for strikes, Acts of God, failure of guests to vacate or conditions beyond the control of Manta Ray Bay Resort. Manta Ray Bay reserves the right to accommodate any reservation in alternate hotels. If the published rate of the room occupied in the alternate hotel is less than the Manta Ray’s published rate, then the difference between rates will be credited to the guests’ account.

We stayed at the hotel and dove with Manta Ray divers in early December 2017. The hotel is very comfortable, well run and staffed with wonderful employees. During our visit my wife came down with an illness and the consideration and support from the hotel and dive staff could not have been better.read more

The best place to stay in Yap. The resort is really nice and clean, the scuba diving is great, and the docked ship that houses the bar, restaurant, and movie screen is very cool. I really enjoyed my stay here.read more

The whole place centers around the scuba diving operation. Probably better to find somewhere else if you're not a diver. The dive operation was generally good, but a little too laid back - schedules weren't always clear, and sometimes would change without any notice. Sometimes it was hard to tell if this was really because of changing tides/weather or because of the island pace of life. Pizza is a surprisingly good option at the restaurant.read more
