Manta Ray Bay Hotel and Yap Divers is home to Manta Visions, the only photo/video facility on Yap. Piloted by published photographer/videographer Julie Morgan the center offers guests daily access to their imaging needs.
Manta Visions provides guests the opportunity to enjoy their personal Yap vacation memories for years through custom or group dive videos, personalized photo shoots, photo instruction and camera rentals.
Hailing from Oklahoma, Morgan is a fine art graduate from the Univ. of Texas, Austin. Julie found her passion in life after her first dive with a camera when her love for the seas, animals, art and film meshed.
Happier and more at home in the water with a camera than anywhere else, Julie has worked as photographer/videographer/photo pro. on the island of Bonaire, Turkey, Egypt and Cayman Brac since 1992.
Julie’s work has been published in Skin Diver, Scuba Diving, Dive Training, Reef Fish ID, Fathoms, Essence, Power Cruising, Sport Fishing, Oceans Illustrated, Travel and Leisure, Caribbean Travel and Life, Caradonna/Continental brochures and more. Morgan has been a contributing photographer and writer for Sport Diver since 2001.
Highly interested in conservation of the seas, Julie has contributed her work for brochures and art projects for non-profit conservation organizations in the Caribbean and worldwide. Her videography has been aired on the Nature Channel, presented before the U.S. Congress to promote ocean cleanups and the International Year of the Reef in 1997.

Morgan is presently shooting a D200 in a Sea&Sea housing for photography and a VX2000 in a Gates for video. Photo and video editing is produced on a Mac.
