So you like blue water? About 15 miles off the eastern shore of Yap you'll find
some of the deepest of the deep blue sea, The Yap Trench. You won't be able
to punch down the full 28,000 feet of it, but how would you like to drop down
to about 80' and see what swims by?
And how about pelagics? While we're enroute to the Trench, keep your gear ready
so you can hit the water when we run into the flocks of seabirds that denote
the presence of schooling fish. When is the last time you plunged into a school
of thousands of tuna surrounded by sharks and dolphins?
