We try to make our website as lean and mean as possible, avoiding stuff that requires anything but the basic modem bandwith. Videos would normally be right out. However, there's some stuff we feel that you really have to see, so we put a little extra effort in cleaning and compressing a few clips.

So if you've got the pipe, or feel the wait downloading a meg or two on a modem is worth it, here are some audio and video clips to give you an idea of what you can expect when visiting Yap Divers at the Manta Ray Bay Hotel.

The Quicktime files require Quicktime 3 or higher. The AVI videos require Indeo 5 Codec, which is included in current versions of Windows.

"Electric Red " Sea Anemone in O'Keef's Passage
  Quicktime video
11 seconds. 480 KB.

This Sea Anemone can be found in O'Keefe's Passage. The coloring is a strikingly luminous neon red. Photographers using strobes usually get a suprise though - the anemone show up a dark brown in the photos. The red color comes from fluorecencing algae in the anemone, and is not visible in the white light from the strobes.
