Celebrating the last 30 years of being in business in Yap also means celebrating the last 30 years of Yap culture that is shared with visitors and experiencing Micronesia’s most intact traditional culture.

One of the most colorful activities you can do in Yap is watch a traditional bamboo stick dance.

Traditional attire whips around as bamboo sticks carry a steady tempo while spectators and photographers watch grass skirts fly through the air.

This dance was put on in the parking lot in front of the Taro Leaf Spa with spectator seating for the event party.
